A Message To Visitors
It is my pleasure to come with this website, as some form of guide. I am hopeful that it will support the promotion of tourism of the country and the local region. Known as the land of paradise, Pokhara is really famous for its natural beauty, cultural varieties and for attractive events and activities. Previously the country passed through a turbulent situation disturbing almost all the nerves of our nation for some years. Before the time of recovery period, the country witnessed the problem of earth quake and now again with border blockade, which ultimately hampered all the economic activities including the tourism of Nepal.
Despite these problems, the country succeeded to achieve the new constitution from the constituent assembly. It will certainly help to create a peaceful social situation and dynamism for the economic activity in the country and hope that the tourism will revive very soon. Of course, there is always light after the dark, i.e. “Rays of Hope.”
I expect that this website will definitely help to enhance the tourism by providing reliable and constructive information about Pokhara and the region and also promote tourism awareness among the people and its professionals.
Pokhara
Paragliding provides breathtaking views of the horizon and mountain ranges. Other adventure sports include trekking, hiking, mountain biking, pony trekking, boating and many more. Additionally, Zip Flying, Bungee Jumping, Rafting, Rock Climbing and Canyoning are some of the adrenaline-inducing activities to try.
The inner circle of Pokhara is surrounded by beautiful small green rolling hills whereas the outer circle on the north side is well guarded by the high mountains and the panoramic range of the high Himalayas. The village settlements and hill stations in the periphery are beautiful and pristine. Pokhara boasts of superb hill stations and sightseeing centers.
Pokhara is the gate way for several trekking destinations of Annapurna, Manaslu and Dhaulagiri region. There are many popular treks all over these regions lasting from a few days to several weeks. The most popular trails have tea house accommodation along the route while camping is the only possibility on remote areas.
